recently, when asked whether my work is 'Art' I was not able to produce a coherent answer. In this essay I am attempting to clarify my feelings about the meaning (if any) of the word Art; and as the nature of the enquiry within my work leans towards topics more traditionally associated with 'science' I am also trying to quantify the relationship of the one with the other.
